### Book Library
Add books with title, author, total pages, and optional genre. Each book gets a randomly assigned color for its cover display. Track multiple books simultaneously with visual progress bars. Free users can have up to 3 active books; premium users get unlimited books. Books can be marked as reading, completed, paused, or want-to-read.

### Session Logging
Log reading sessions quickly by entering the page range you read. The "from page" is pre-filled with your current page. You can also log the time spent reading in minutes. After logging, the book's progress updates automatically. If you reach the last page, the book is automatically marked as completed.

### Reading Streaks
Build consistency with daily reading streaks that count consecutive days with at least one logged session. The streak is prominently displayed on both Stats and Profile tabs. Miss a day and the streak resets to zero, motivating you to read every day.

### Reading Stats
The Stats tab shows an overview with four key metrics: books read, pages read, total hours, and current streak. A bar chart displays pages read per day for the current week. Premium users get additional analytics: genre breakdown showing distribution across your library, a streak calendar with dots for each reading day, and a list of completed books with dates.

### Reading Goals
Set a books-per-year goal (default: 12) and track your progress on both the Library and Profile tabs. A visual progress bar shows how many books you have completed this year versus your goal, with status indicators for whether you are on track or behind schedule. ## How to Use Readistry

### Step 1: Create Your Account
Download Readistry from the App Store or Google Play. Sign up with your email, Google account, or Apple ID. Complete the quick onboarding that introduces the app and requests notification permissions.

### Step 2: Add Your First Book
Tap the + button (FAB) on the Library tab to add a book. Enter the title, author, total pages, and optionally a genre. The book appears in your "Currently Reading" section with a colorful cover and 0% progress.

### Step 3: Log Reading Sessions
After reading, tap "Log Reading" on any book card. Enter the page range you read (from page → to page). You can also enter the time spent in minutes. Your book progress updates instantly.

### Step 4: Build Your Streak
Read and log at least one session every day to build your reading streak. Check your streak on the Stats or Profile tab. The longer your streak, the stronger your habit becomes.

Yes! Readistry tracks pages, not physical books specifically. You can use it for any format — just enter the equivalent page numbers from your e-reader or audiobook chapter markers. The app does not differentiate between book formats.

## Privacy and Security

Readistry takes your privacy seriously. We collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service:

- **Email and name**: For account creation and profile display
- **Book information**: Core functionality — your reading library
- **Reading session logs**: Tracking pages read and calculating statistics
- **Push notification token**: For sending reminders (opt-in only)
- **Device information**: Anonymous, aggregate analytics to improve the app
